Au pair Aimee resides in Centurion. She is a fun, loving, compassionate and caring person with a passion for children. Currently, a third-year student, studying Bed Education Sciences (Foundation Phase Gr R-3 ) at the Northwest University. She is studying part-time and completing her degree online. Some of her subjects include Afrikaans Home Language, English First additional, Educational Law, Mathematics, Educational Psychology; Learning support, Life skills, Environmental Management for Sustainability, Critical Thinking and Social Justice. She has great organizational skills, problem-solving skills and the ability to stimulate a child’s mind through active play and tasks. She would have no problem assisting children to do homework and help with projects or any school-related work such as exam preparation. She does well in social environments and considers herself to be a social butterfly. She is always eager to learn new skills and able to cope well in stressful situations. She has gained experience with children during her Work Integrated Learning. She has completed a hockey umpire course and has coached the first team for various schools. Some of her other achievements include completing various educational courses at an  Educational institution and Camp, where she presented these courses to the children during the camp. She is a good cook and will have no problem preparing meals for children and be willing to help keep the children’s workspace neat and tidy. She has a reliable car, and a driver’s license and have 3 and a half years of driving experience. The most important thing to her is to make sure children feel comfortable and safe and giving them the attention they deserve.
